Four assessment objects based on learning objects developed a few years earlier. These new versions were re-developed using ActionScript 3.0 as tools to help teachers diagnose learning needs.

The illustration above was from one of two assessment tools relating to addition.

The one to the right was from one of two assessment tools relating to multiplication..

Students work through a set of four problems. They use the sliders to indicate how they would break the larger numbers up into simpler ones to help solve a problem.

They then respond to detailed questions to further assess their understanding.

Finally, a report is available
on-screen and as a printout for the teacher.

These were developed by CWA New Media for The Learning Federation of Australia.

The PixelPump carried out the ActionScript programming for these items.
