Two sets of interactive
learning activities, or learning objects, developed by CWA New Media for The Learning Federation of Australia. All were created to support aspects
of the Maths curriculum.
Squirt - a set of eight learning objects.
These are about proportional reasoning and expressing relationships. Students use containers of liquid which they can fill, empty and squirt, to enable them to explore relationships.
To access these learning objects, schools in NZ need to register on TKI's Digital Storehouse.
Teaching units can be found on the NZ Maths website.
Scale Matters - a set of nine learning objects.
In these, students use scales or number lines to support and develop their understanding of number.
