Multimedia Programming

We work with designers and others to develop interactive content with Adobe Flash - and occasionally Director.

This includes creating apps for use in iPhone and iPad as well as Android smartphone and tablet devices.

One area where we have a particular interest and experience, is developing resources to support teaching and learning. We've been involved in some of the most successful and innovative interactive learning content developed for the New Zealand and Australian markets. Other work has been for corporate training, and marketing.

Our specialist input includes:

• ActionScript programming for Flash
Adobe Flash is an authoring tool especially suited to developing interactive content for online deployment. We've been using Flash since version 1 and its programming language, ActionScript, since that was introduced.

• Mobile development
Our chosen development path for mobile is via Flash CS5.5, using AIR for Android and AIR for iOS.

• Lingo programming for Director
Adobe Director is an authoring tool for developing interactive multimedia content for CDROM, or for the internet as Shockwave. We have 17 year's experience with Director's programming language, Lingo.

• Director/Flash integration
Director can incorporate content developed with Flash, and communication between lingo and ActionScript is a routine part of our work.
